Here at Crafted Classics Tuning our forte is tuning, rebuilding and reconditioning the engines for the much-loved Mini. We offer a large number of services for the classic car enthusiast.

We specialise in the rebuilding, reconditioning and tuning of the famous A series engine as used in a variety of classic cars, namely the Mini, MG Midget, Austin Healey Sprite, Morris and the Austin A35. Our rebuild services consist of an evaluation of your current engine, detailing everything that would be required to bring it up to our exacting high standards.

Rebuilding your current engine, whether it’s maintaining a standard period engine for the car, already modified and requires a freshen up or completely standard and requires something with a bit more ‘get up and go’ we can most certainly fulfil your requirements.

Every aspect of the engine gets a ‘fine toothcomb’ approach with what the issues are and what’s required to get it back to top performance and reliability. From cylinder heads, through to blocks, con-rods, crankshafts all the way down to baulk rings and bearings in the gearbox, nothing gets past us.
